Creating a Character
When creating a character the first thing to do is to select a class, classes replace races and certain aspects of classes from fifth edition, providing the character with stat boosts, skill proficiencies, saving throws and starting equipment, outside of magic classes (due to the fact that none-magic classes first attunement slot can be expensive) this will only truly shape how your character plays in the early game. You do not need to pick skill proficiencies immediately if your DM intends to have you roll for stats or if you simply want to wait until after you know what your ability scores are

Next, using the method the DM has laid out for you, work out your ability scores. Set your health as your constitution and your carry weight as your strength doubled

Finally, each player has access to a gift of their choice from the below item table.
